The ACLU says the nationwide injunction against the Transgender Ban imposed in their lawsuit, Stone v Trump, was not overturned today.
I don’t know what to make of this as no news organizations’ articles are reporting on this. According to Wikipedia, in Stone v Trump
On November 21, 2017, Judge Marvin J. Garbis issued a preliminary injunction to the entire Presidential Memorandum of August 25.
and
On December 21, 2017, a panel of three judges on the Fourth Circuit denied USDOJ's emergency motion for a stay on Judge Garbis's order.
then
On April 23, 2018, the Plaintiffs filed an amended complaint addressing the new Memorandum
and
On August 14, the court denied the defendants' motion for a protective order, and simultaneously granted the Plaintiffs' motion to compel the defendants to disclose documents in response to discovery.
These were the last happenings in the case, according to the ACLU webpage about the case.
Anyone with more insight is invited to explain.
It is certainly true that the Supreme Court did not deal with Stone v Trump in its orders today, which dealt only with Trump v Karnoski and Trump v Stockman.
